BACKGROUND INFORMATION
I graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri – Columbia. I have worked for the National Health Service Corps in Greenville, Ohio and have been a faculty member in the departments of Family Medicine of both the University of Missouri and Wright State University.
WHY BEAVERCREEK FAMILY HEALTH CENTER
I left my position of Professor of Family Medicine at Wright State University to help create Beavercreek Family Health Center in November 2013. My ultimate goal was to start a Direct Primary Care Practice, as I think this is the best way to provide primary care.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
My interests in medicine include caring in an integrated fashion for individuals and families who have multiple medical problems, and caring for individuals who have addictions. I enjoy cycling, gardening (otherwise known as feeding the deer), reading and church-related activities.
